“Portals” was a landmark exhibition held at the historic building of the former Public Tobacco Factory in Athens, from June to December 2021, organized by the NEON Organization. Featuring works by 59 artists from around the world, the exhibition explored themes of transition, communication, renewal, and restart.

The title “Portals” symbolized openings to new possibilities, inviting visitors to reflect on the role of art in shaping the future during times of crisis. The artworks—ranging from sculptures and installations to videos and other forms of contemporary art—interacted dynamically with the industrial character of the space, bridging the past, present, and future.
